Senior Data Engineer

Location: Remote, EMEA; core working hours are 10am–3pm in the local time zone, with flexibility outside these hours.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Zero-ETL data pipelines.
• Build, optimize, and maintain data models and warehouse solutions in Amazon Redshift.
• Develop and manage workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow.
• Integrate data from internal and external sources while ensuring quality, reliability, consistency, and availability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data platform issues through root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and stakeholders, participate in architecture discussions and code reviews, and improve automation, monitoring, documentation, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services, including Amazon Redshift and Amazon RDS.
• Experience developing and maintaining Apache Airflow workflows and implementing ETL solutions.
• Experience designing scalable data warehouses and analytical data models.
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex production issues, with strong communication, stakeholder management, ownership, and accountability.
