Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Phoenix, Arizona or Albuquerque, New Mexico — on-site, with potential hybrid flexibility in the future

Limited travel to project sites is required.

What you will do

• Independently design and analyze complex structural components and systems.
• Research and implement new design methods with attention to constructability and efficiency.
• Manage project deliverables and potentially serve as project manager for moderately complex projects.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Interpret structural analysis results, resolve modeling errors, and support QA/QC and lessons-learned initiatives.
• Conduct construction site visits, resolve field issues, and participate in design and construction meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 6 years of relevant hands-on engineering experience; an MS degree may substitute for one year.
• Required Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in at least one state.
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of structural analysis software and Revit, including modeling, detailing, and sheet setup when required.
• Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, AZ or Albuquerque, NM.
