Senior Manager of Internal Communications

Location: On-site in Everett, WA

Compensation: $194,000 – $231,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and grow the internal communications function as the company scales.
• Set the overall internal communications strategy and define success metrics.
• Serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership during major organizational changes and transitions.
• Partner with the Director of Communications to ensure consistency between internal and external messaging.
• Manage, coach, and grow the internal communications team.
• Own the budget, tools, and vendor relationships for the internal communications function.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in internal or corporate communications.
• Proven track record of managing and coaching teams.
• Experience advising executives through high-stakes moments and organizational change.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
• Collaborative style with experience partnering with People Ops and senior stakeholders.
• Must be able to work on-site in Everett, WA.

Nice to have

• Experience working with distributed or shift-based teams.
• Background in a technical or scientific organization.
• Familiarity with Confluence, Slack, and digital signage platforms.
