Regional EHS&S Manager (North America)

Location: Remote within the United States of America, Delaware; travel required 40%, with peaks up to 60%.

Salary: $123,690–$181,412 annually, plus discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Develop and implement regional Environmental, Health, Safety and Security policies, procedures, programs, and risk controls.
• Lead regional EHS teams and guide Commercial, Supply Chain, Technology, Office, and manufacturing teams on regulatory and internal requirements.
• Track leading and lagging EHS&S metrics, reduce injury and incident rates, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
• Support customer EHS&S requests, approval systems, and safe operations at customer sites.
• Lead and develop regional field safety coordinators, plant safety professionals, managers, direct reports, and global indirect team members.
• Oversee Process Safety Management, ISO 45001, Responsible Care, and EHS&S requirements for M&A and integration activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of EHS&S experience with increasing management responsibility in chemical and multi-site environments.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, environmental programs, chemical security, sustainability, and Process Safety Management.
• Experience implementing EHS&S management systems and working with safety, environmental, and international standards.
• Formal safety certification or license where applicable; Certified Safety Professional or equivalent is preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and local languages, plus strong leadership, influence, regulatory, customer interaction, process engineering, and change management skills.
