Senior Engineer - LNG

Location: MA-Hopkinton (55 Wilson St), with work in both the office and field. Travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire is required as necessary.

Salary: $129,450.00–$143,830.00 annual salary range, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Design and support LNG and LPG facility systems, including gas pretreatment, liquefaction, boil-off gas handling, cryogenic storage, utilities, firewater, electrical, and control systems.
• Prepare site layouts, procurement and permitting documents, construction packages, bids, schedules, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate construction activities with customers, contractors, municipalities, states, plant operations, and internal departments.
• Ensure projects and facility operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, industry codes, and company procedures.
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, schedules, invoices, and project reporting.
• Mentor junior staff, support gas compliance programs, design gas piping changes, and assist with emergency restoration efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum eight years of related experience.
• Experience with project leadership, coordination, and budget management.
• Strong ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and schematic drawings.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, cryogenic fundamentals, gas operating procedures, applicable regulations, and industry codes.
• A valid driver’s license is required; availability for emergency restoration assignments and occasional to significant car travel is required.

• Engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer license.
