Infrastructure Security Engineer

What you will do

• Design and improve security architecture for cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
• Secure CI/CD systems, software supply chains, build pipelines, and deployment workflows.
• Improve identity, authentication, secrets management, and access control across production systems.
• Harden Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, and runtime environments against modern attack vectors.
• Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, vulnerability investigations, and remediation activities.
• Partner with infrastructure and engineering teams to establish security standards and practical controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure security, cloud security, platform security, SRE, or related domains.
• Strong software engineering, systems engineering, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure, distributed production systems, Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with identity and access management, secrets management, authentication systems, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and security architecture reviews.
• Strong cross-functional communication and practical judgment balancing security, reliability, scalability, and development velocity.

Nice to have

• Experience with software supply chain security, artifact signing, or build provenance systems.
• Experience with runtime security, Kubernetes security, or production infrastructure hardening.
• Background in platform engineering, SRE, infrastructure engineering, or cloud-native operations.
• Experience with offensive security, penetration testing, or adversarial infrastructure assessments.
• Experience supporting operationally critical or mission-critical production environments.
