Infrastructure Security Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Salary: $150,000–$270,000 annually plus equity

hirify.global is building an infrastructure layer for AI workloads and provides a cloud-native platform for category-defining companies.

What you will do

• Design and improve isolation mechanisms for multi-tenant workloads, including containers, sandboxing, and execution environments.
• Secure and harden containerized workloads and orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
• Design authentication, authorization, service identity, and least-privilege access patterns.
• Build and maintain secure systems for managing secrets, tokens, and credentials, including rotation and auditing.
• Secure cloud environments across AWS, GCP, and similar providers through network segmentation, access controls, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment security.
• Partner with product and infrastructure engineers to review architecture, identify systemic risks, and build secure primitives.

Requirements

• Production experience securing cloud-native infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Background in infrastructure, backend, or security engineering, preferably in multi-tenant or high-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, authentication, authorization, service identity, secrets management, and networking.
• Builder mentality with experience designing and implementing security controls rather than focusing only on compliance or policy.
• Ability to work deeply with engineers and influence secure system design in fast-moving environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with sandboxing or runtime isolation technologies such as gVisor, Firecracker, or seccomp.
• Familiarity with kernel-level or low-level isolation primitives.
• Experience securing Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems in production.
• Background in developer infrastructure, compute platforms, or multi-tenant systems.
