Salary: $230,000–$280,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Improve the security posture of AWS accounts and cloud infrastructure.
• Create secure frameworks for secrets management, authentication, and authorization.
• Design and deploy robust Identity and Access Management solutions.
• Guide cross-functional partners on security and privacy best practices.
• Participate in and drive mitigation strategies during security incidents.
• Debug and improve production systems while minimizing disruption.

Requirements

• Experience building and maintaining security systems for cloud architectures, including secrets management and IAM.
• Production-grade backend or infrastructure development experience.
• Ability to model threats, assess risk, and prioritize pragmatic security investments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an empathetic approach to collaboration.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco or New York City office on the required Anchor Days.

Nice to have

• AWS security best practices, zero-trust architecture, or deep IAM expertise.
• Data security or privacy engineering experience.
• Experience applying AI tooling to defensive security workflows.
