Salary: $78,362–$107,747 per year.

What you will do

  • Supervise production personnel building and assembling space system hardware, subassemblies, and integrated systems on the second shift.
  • Review production schedules, material requirements, and workforce capacity to deliver weekly and monthly operational plans.
  • Assign personnel and resources, manage workforce costs, and address scheduling conflicts and production constraints.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, and other functional groups to resolve technical issues and maintain product conformance.
  • Recommend improvements to materials, tooling, equipment, procedures, and process efficiency.
  • Coach employees, manage performance, communicate operational plans, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong leadership, team management, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience supporting organizational change and holding employees accountable to company values and performance expectations.
  • Must be eligible to work under U.S. government international trade regulations.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required and to travel for short or extended trips.

Nice to have

  • Management or lead experience in manufacturing, MRO, or production environments.
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, corrective action planning, schedule risk mitigation, and quality conformance.
  • Aerospace, defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military experience.
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and leading safety or continuous improvement initiatives.
