Supervisor, Production Operations - Second Shift (Aerospace)

Salary: $78,362–$107,747 per year

What you will do

• Supervise personnel building and assembling space system hardware, subassemblies, and integrated systems.
• Review production schedules, material requirements, and workforce resources to meet weekly, monthly, and program milestones.
• Assign personnel and resources, monitor costs and workforce plans, and resolve scheduling and operational challenges.
• Identify production constraints, material shortages, and technical issues, coordinating resolution with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance to refine processes, tooling, equipment, and operating procedures.
• Lead coaching, performance management, accountability, safety, quality, and compliance with aerospace standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, with experience supporting organizational change.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed and adapt to changing assignments.

Nice to have

• Experience managing or leading manufacturing, MRO, or production teams.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and work instructions.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective action planning, schedule-risk mitigation, and data reporting.
• Aerospace and defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military background.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and leading shop-floor safety and efficiency improvements.
