Senior Software Engineer, Perception Data Infrastructure (Autonomous Driving)

What you will do

• Own and advance native C++ perception data visualization and annotation platforms.
• Render and manipulate large multimodal datasets from LiDAR, cameras, and radar in UI environments.
• Parse raw sensor data and manage pipeline propagation between onboard vehicle logs and offboard visualization systems.
• Optimize real-time rendering of high-density LiDAR point clouds and multi-camera projections.
• Build validation layers that detect calibration errors, synchronization failures, and labeling mistakes before ML training.
• Collaborate across ML, data, infrastructure, and labeling operations to resolve bottlenecks and establish sustainable system boundaries.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• Fluency in C++ and strong familiarity with Python.
• Experience building robust, high-performance software systems or infrastructure.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical projects, navigate ambiguity, and drive complex codebases to completion.

Nice to have

• Robotics software stack experience, including sensor parsing, coordinate frames, and pipeline propagation.
• Familiarity with 3D graphics or rendering technologies such as WebGL or OpenGL.
• Experience with point cloud processing or autonomous driving sensor data.
