Strategic Sourcing Manager (Autonomy & Robotics)

Location: Oakland, California, United States

Salary: $130,600–$192,000 USD per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Source commodities ranging from fasteners to complex components and engineering and manufacturing services.
• Build sourcing strategies focused on total cost of ownership and long-term supply availability.
• Analyze procurement issues, break down complex problems, and drive cross-functional teams toward results.
• Create spreadsheet models for supply chain management, spend tracking, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Work hands-on with engineers, business leaders, and sourcing stakeholders to support commercial success.

Requirements

• 7+ years of procurement experience in consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, autonomy, or AI projects.
• MBA and/or JD, with significant experience writing and negotiating vendor contract agreements.
• Experience with suppliers and vendors in consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, autonomy, or AI.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for leading and organizing cross-functional efforts.
• Sharp attention to detail and willingness to manage both strategic and tactical sourcing work.
