Stock Administrator (AI)

Location: On-site in San Jose, Santana Row. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to San Jose.

What you will do

• Administer global equity programs, including grants, exercises, vesting, releases, ESPP purchases, tender offers, and other equity transactions.
• Maintain accurate equity records across Carta, transfer agents, and internal systems.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and People on payroll, accounting, tax reporting, and SEC filings.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including ASC 718 stock-based compensation accounting and audits.
• Ensure compliance with securities laws, tax regulations, SOX controls, and equity policies.
• Answer employee questions, manage external vendors, and improve operations through scalable processes, automation, and stronger controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of equity administration experience at a high-growth technology company, public company, or leading law firm.
• Experience with stock options, RSUs, ESPPs, tender offers, and other equity programs.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 718, SOX, SEC reporting, and equity taxation.
• Experience with Carta, Rippling, AST, Shareworks, or similar platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills.

• Certified Equity Professional designation.
• Experience supporting an IPO or working at a newly public company.
• Experience with international equity programs and cross-border compliance.
• Experience building scalable equity operations and automating manual processes.
