Network/System Administrator (Net/Sys Admin) II

Location: Onsite in Bedford, Massachusetts, United States. Travel within the organizational geographic area of responsibility is required, typically 10–25% and potentially extensive.

Salary: $93,662–$125,120 per year.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, audit, and support secure Microsoft Windows network environments and limited web and data application services.
• Maintain IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SSL applications and protocols.
• Administer file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation.
• Perform troubleshooting, hardware upgrades, firmware updates, system configuration changes, and scheduled backups.
• Manage backup media libraries, including onsite and offsite storage of tapes, disks, and other magnetic media.
• Support operational testing, planning meetings, customer support, and technical guidance within Special Access Programs.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance and SAP experience are required.
• Willingness to submit to a counterintelligence polygraph is required.
• At least 3 years of related experience, subject to variation based on training, certifications, or education.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area, or an associate degree plus 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE or CCNA Security, and knowledge of Windows administration, Cisco networking, LAN/WAN, virtualization, backup technologies, COMSEC, and security policies.

Nice to have

• Experience with PL3 and PL4 cross-domain solutions.
• Experience supporting PL1 and PL2 systems.
