Network Lead

What you will do

• Lead network management and telecommunications support across enterprise and classified networks serving approximately 20 facilities.
• Design, install, configure, monitor, secure, and optimize LAN/WAN, voice, data, and video network infrastructure.
• Diagnose complex interconnectivity, routing, switching, protocol, performance, and network security issues.
• Maintain network schematics, technical documentation, configuration management records, security controls, and authorization-related materials.
• Plan and coordinate approved network upgrades, interoperability solutions, load-balancing approaches, and modernization activities.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity staff, CIO personnel, team leads, and other stakeholders to sustain secure 24/7 mission network availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in network engineering, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Advanced enterprise networking and telecommunications experience in complex multi-site environments, including routing, switching, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and network services.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, network access controls, load balancing, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and secure wired and wireless networks.
• Experience with network monitoring, configuration management, vulnerability remediation, technical documentation, and network change planning.
• Working knowledge of Cisco enterprise networking and security technologies and comparable network-management platforms.
• SECRET security clearance and knowledge of DoD/Army network security requirements are required.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNP, CCIE, or comparable advanced network certification.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE, Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center, Cisco Secure Network Analytics, F5 BIG-IP/BIG-IQ, Infoblox, or SolarWinds.
• Experience supporting VoIP, unified communications, video/telepresence, Army or DoD classified networks, DISA STIGs, network authorization, and RMF technical evidence.
