Software Manager - Routing Protocols (Networking)

What you will do

• Lead software developers through technical direction and managerial guidance.
• Recruit and mentor team members to expand team capability and support individual development.
• Review product requirements and feature requests, providing effort estimates and risk assessments.
• Influence architecture decisions, design reviews, code reviews, test plans, and technology strategy.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver committed features on schedule.
• Collaborate with software development, product management, QA, and technical support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of software development experience in the networking domain.
• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership and/or people management.
• Knowledge of network routers, switches, or routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.

Nice to have

• Experience using a Linux development environment.
• Experience with open-source software development.
