Director, Systems Engineering (Networking)

Location: Remote leadership role based in the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region; 50%+ travel required across multiple countries.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of Systems Engineers across the CALA region.
• Partner with regional sales leadership to achieve revenue targets, pipeline growth, and market expansion.
• Drive technical engagement with channel partners, distributors, and key end customers.
• Guide pre-sales activities including solution design, demos, POCs, and RFx responses.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex, multi-country deployments and customer situations.
• Collaborate with product management to provide regional market feedback and influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 10+ years of pre-sales or systems engineering experience in networking (Wi-Fi, switching, routing).
• 5+ years of experience leading or managing technical teams.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Must be based in the Caribbean or Latin America (CALA) region and possess the right to work there.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Portuguese.
• Advanced knowledge of SASE, SD-WAN, RADIUS, and virtualization environments (VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V, GCE, Azure, AWS).
• Experience with specific verticals like MDU, K-12, SLED, hospitality, and manufacturing.
