Industrial Engineer

Salary: $90,000–$117,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead facility layout planning, workstation optimization, space management, and material-flow improvements.
• Develop and validate site capacity models and cycle-time standards to identify manufacturing bottlenecks.
• Support CAPEX planning with data-driven justifications, ROI calculations, and equipment deployment engineering.
• Create, maintain, and audit SAP Bills of Materials, routings, work centers, cost centers, and scheduling parameters.
• Analyze yield reviews and systemic variances against physical performance to resolve process discrepancies.
• Improve product lifecycle management and standard-costing systems, using SAP and simulation data to validate process changes and embed Lean methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, including factory layouts and digital product data.
• Hands-on SAP experience with BOM creation, routing management, and Work Center configuration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or BIM software for space planning and facility layouts.
• Expertise in capacity modeling, time-study methods, and statistical data analysis.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, including Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping, plus strong communication and data-integrity skills.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
