Head of Talent Acquisition (AI/Robotics)

Location: Mountain View, California (HQ)

Salary: $176,400–$264,600 per year, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and scale recruiting and sourcing teams across technology, engineering, business, and operations functions.
• Partner with executives and functional leaders to build data-driven hiring strategies, headcount plans, and sourcing models.
• Build capacity models, pipeline analytics, and productivity metrics to improve recruiter bandwidth, time to hire, and hiring velocity.
• Personally manage key executive and leadership searches, including equity and pre-IPO value propositions.
• Coach managers and senior individual contributors while fostering urgency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive recruiting enablement, process innovation, systems improvements, candidate experience, and employer brand integrity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in recruiting leadership roles within high-growth technology environments.
• Experience managing managers and developing high-performing recruiting and sourcing teams.
• Proven success hiring for complex technical and engineering functions; AI/ML or research engineering experience is strongly preferred.
• Expertise in recruiting dashboards, capacity models, and performance metrics.
• Strong executive presence, communication skills, and ability to partner with senior leaders.
• Experience with ATS and HRIS systems such as Greenhouse and Workday.

• Experience managing large-scale operations or volume hiring programs.
• Recruiting leadership experience in robotics, ML/AI, or deep-tech organizations.
