Location: Fully remote within the United States

Salary: $175,000–$185,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead DevSecOps activities, infrastructure-as-code initiatives, and the publication and maintenance of DevOps and infrastructure policies.
• Implement security standards, data governance processes, configuration controls, and compliance automation within the authorization boundary.
• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and performance-management solutions to identify issues before they affect production.
• Automate deployment workflows for data pipelines, APIs, and container-based workloads.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to improve system performance, resource utilization, vulnerability management, and operational efficiency.
• Identify continuous-improvement opportunities and apply current operations-management practices and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems, business, or a related technical discipline, with 12 years of experience or equivalent qualifications; up to four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and independent analysis, design, development, and implementation of complex technical solutions.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, Spark, and GitHub.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Active VA Public Trust clearance.
• Familiarity with Agile concepts and best practices.
• Experience with CloudStrike, Dynatrace, or Power BI.
• Previous Department of Veterans Affairs experience.
