What you will do

• Design and build solutions for deploying applications in customer-facing environments.
• Automate development, testing, release, and infrastructure provisioning processes.
• Build and maintain development tools, CI/CD pipelines, configuration standards, and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Deploy and monitor applications across environments while maintaining stability, performance, security, and minimal downtime.
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements and collaborate with software developers and engineers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor team members on development and operations best practices.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Advanced DevOps expertise and experience automating development, testing, and release processes for large-scale software.
• Extensive experience with infrastructure provisioning and automation tools.
• Strong background in identifying and fixing complex system-level problems.
• Ability to work on-site in Chantilly, Virginia.

Nice to have

• GitLab experience for CI/CD pipeline management and version control.
• Jira experience for stakeholder requirements and project workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible and monitoring tools.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical workgroups.
