Total Rewards Manager

Location: Mountain View, California (HQ)

Salary: $160,360–$240,540 per year, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs.
• Develop and manage salary structures, job leveling, and performance-based reward systems.
• Lead market benchmarking and adjust reward programs based on industry trends.
• Oversee benefits administration, vendor management, annual compensation reviews, and equity planning.
• Collaborate with HR and company leadership to align rewards strategy with business objectives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and communicate compensation and benefits programs clearly to employees.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits.
• Experience designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience managing equity programs and annual compensation reviews.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, including expertise in Excel or data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across organizational levels.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial approach with a record of delivering innovative outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with compensation systems such as Workday, Market Pay, or SAP HR.
• Experience in the autonomous vehicle or broader mobility sector.
• Experience in a high-growth startup.
