Product Engineer (AI Accelerators)

What you will do

• Plan and execute silicon characterization from first silicon through production release, including voltage-frequency-temperature characterization, corner testing, guard-band determination, and production limit setting.
• Architect ATE and SLT test flows that balance test time, coverage, yield learning, quality, and cost for large-format AI accelerator designs.
• Drive yield improvement through statistical root-cause analysis, fail pareto analysis, DPPM tracking, and test-escape reduction.
• Perform die- and package-level bring-up, troubleshoot failure modes, and correlate ATE results with system specifications.
• Support OSAT bring-up, manufacturing test-program releases, vendor and partner management, and the transition from NPI to high-volume manufacturing.
• Analyze field returns and system-level failures to identify coverage gaps and improve screening methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in silicon validation, product engineering, and ATE test development for advanced-node semiconductors.
• Demonstrated results in yield optimization and DPPM reduction at production scale.
• Experience with silicon characterization, including Fmax/Vmin characterization and power and thermal validation.
• High-volume manufacturing test experience and strong knowledge of test-program debugging, failure-analysis correlation, and yield-enhancement techniques.
• Proficiency with JMP, Exensio, DataPower, or OptimalPlus for yield and fail pareto analysis.

Nice to have

• ATE test-program development for wafer sort and final test on Advantest V93K platforms.
• Experience with GPU, HPC, or AI accelerator testing, HBM or high-speed memory interfaces, and multiple advanced process nodes.
• Experience leading NPI through high-volume production, including multi-vendor qualification across multiple OSAT sites.
• Scripting and automation skills in Python, Perl, or TCL for test-data analysis and workflow automation.
• Experience with multi-site parallel testing, test-time optimization, and significant cost-reduction initiatives.
