Senior Design Verification Engineer (AI Hardware)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States — onsite

Salary: $200,000–$320,000 base plus equity per year

What you will do

• Own verification for complex IP, subsystems, or SoC components from planning through functional closure.
• Develop UVM testbenches, verification environments, reusable infrastructure, and test frameworks.
• Build verification strategies spanning block-level verification, full-chip verification, and emulation.
• Debug complex functional issues and drive coverage closure.
• Collaborate with design, architecture, and software teams to support first-pass silicon success.
• Use AI-assisted verification workflows and modern engineering tools to improve productivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of pre-silicon design verification experience.
• End-to-end ownership of verification for complex IP, subsystems, or SoCs.
• Strong SystemVerilog and UVM experience.
• Experience developing verification environments, infrastructure, and reusable test frameworks.
• Proven ability to perform functional debug and drive coverage closure.
• Experience collaborating across hardware and software teams in fast-paced development environments.

Nice to have

• CPU, GPU, AI accelerator, or datacenter silicon experience.
• DMA or NoC verification experience.
• Multi-die or chip-to-chip protocol verification experience.
• RISC-V architecture or formal verification experience.
• Experience with Palladium, Veloce, or similar emulation platforms, plus post-silicon bring-up.
