Contract Manufacturing Program Manager

Salary: $165,000–$200,000 USD base salary per year

What you will do

• Manage outsourced production programs and serve as the primary escalation point for contract manufacturing partners.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, quality assurance, supply chain, and external factory teams.
• Track production schedules, budgets, delivery milestones, and cost productivity improvements.
• Manage supply chain risks and engineering change orders through the product lifecycle.
• Drive quality, yield, containment, corrective action, and compliance activities for factory and field issues.
• Monitor delivery, quality, and cost KPIs and lead quarterly business reviews with manufacturing partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in contract manufacturing, electronics, or hardware production operations.
• Direct experience across electronics manufacturing, from PCBA through rack integration.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP and Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Advanced negotiation, leadership, multi-vendor program management, collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience managing global contract manufacturing partners and suppliers for L10–L12 assemblies.
• Knowledge of NPI processes and manufacturing scale-up through volume ramp.
• Experience with BOM structures and ECO, MCO, and deviation processes.
• Background in data center, server, or AI infrastructure hardware.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to contract manufacturing sites.
