Senior Staff Operations Program Manager

Location: Santa Clara, CA; hybrid, with on-site work at contract manufacturer sites as needed

Salary: $175,000–$265,000 annually, plus equity and bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional manufacturing programs from concept through end-of-life, managing schedules, scope, cost, and risks.
• Drive EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass-production build planning and execution at contract manufacturer sites.
• Own manufacturing readiness plans covering process flow, station design, tooling, testing, operator training, and production-line qualification.
• Monitor yield, throughput, RTY, scrap, WIP, and other manufacturing KPIs while driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate material availability, capacity planning, ECO/ECN implementation, and supply-risk mitigation.
• Manage operational communication with contract manufacturers, suppliers, engineering, quality, supply chain, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, NPI, or operations program management for high-volume hardware products.
• Experience taking products through the full EVT/DVT/PVT NPI cycle and ramping them to mass production.
• Strong knowledge of SMT, PCBA, plastics and metals fabrication, mechanical assembly, and final test processes.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers, ODMs, and tier-1 suppliers, including suppliers in Asia.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including extended stays at contract manufacturer sites during critical builds.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, or an MBA.
• PMP, Lean, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
• Experience managing builds at contract manufacturers in China, Vietnam, or Mexico.
• Experience with ERP, PLM, and data tools such as SAP, Oracle, Agile, Arena, Windchill, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Jira.
• Working proficiency in Mandarin or another regional language.
