Technical Project Lead

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day delivery across a complex five-year legacy platform transformation programme.
• Coordinate engineering, business, architecture, and third-party supplier workstreams.
• Validate progress, scope, and delivery evidence using Jira and Confluence.
• Manage plans, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and cross-programme dependencies.
• Drive Agile planning, backlog prioritisation, and release coordination.
• Prepare executive presentations, facilitate governance forums, and ensure decisions and actions are followed through.

Requirements

• Experience leading large-scale technical transformation, modernisation, or platform replacement programmes.
• Evidence of delivering complex technology programmes of comparable scale, ideally valued at £10 million or more.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence, including validating progress against scope.
• Experience working across engineering teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers.
• Practical knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong programme governance, risk, dependency, financial management, and executive communication skills.
