Senior Project Manager

Location: USA, with a preference for candidates located in Minneapolis or Chicago. Willingness to travel to Minneapolis and London as required.

What you will do

• Own a complex fixed-price project from setup through delivery, including scope, timeline, budget, profitability, and quality.
• Establish governance, communication processes, and executable delivery plans from project statements of work.
• Build relationships with enterprise stakeholders and align internal and customer departments.
• Manage project plans, budgets, resourcing, financial metrics, change requests, risks, dependencies, and escalations.
• Lead geographically distributed cross-functional teams and handle complex negotiations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Business Analysis, QA, Delivery, and Account Management while using AI tools to automate routine work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT project management experience in software development or IT services.
• Proven end-to-end ownership of complex fixed-price projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, contractual commitments, and change management.
• Experience with enterprise customers, senior stakeholders, project setup, governance, team formation, delivery processes, and reporting.
• Strong risk, dependency, escalation, negotiation, client-facing, and communication skills; understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid SDLC approaches.
• Experience managing cross-functional, geographically distributed delivery teams and using AI-powered tools to improve project efficiency.
• Advanced English and willingness to travel to Minneapolis and London as required.
