Operations Lead (Robotics)

What you will do

• Direct the daily request queue and upkeep work, ensuring service-level targets are met.
• Manage and motivate a team of hourly staff across multiple shifts, including coaching and scheduling.
• Audit team performance and coordinate with researchers and operations leads to fulfill prop requests.
• Maintain cross-shift continuity through detailed handover notes and regular check-ins.
• Execute and refine the team's operational process playbook.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco for this on-site role.
• Proven experience managing, scheduling, and motivating an hourly, shift-based workforce.
• Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented and high-ownership approach.
• Clear communication skills for collaborating with researchers and operations teams.
• Ability to direct work and manage people as the primary responsibility.
