Engineering Manager (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, CA, US; on-site

Salary: $215,000–$260,000 annually plus bonus and restricted stock units

What you will do

• Lead and develop a senior engineering team responsible for hirify.global Cloud's container registry.
• Set team standards, establish goals, and create an environment for high-quality engineering work.
• Plan, prioritize, and own delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
• Guide technical direction, architecture decisions, reliability standards, and engineering tradeoffs.
• Hire, interview, onboard, and shape the team's structure and roadmap as it grows.
• Collaborate with product, platform teams, peer managers, and leadership while maintaining the team's operational health.

Requirements

• At least four years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience managing or leading engineers, including informal technical leadership.
• Strong technical depth in software design and architecture decisions.
• Experience delivering complex projects in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
• Strong communication, judgment, and ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience managing or scaling a team through growth.
• Familiarity with OCI image and distribution specifications.
• Experience building container registry products.
• Experience with storage or caching systems at scale.
