Rack Level Manufacturing Test Engineer

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize automated manufacturing test sequences for integrated system racks from L10 to L12 integration levels.
• Develop orchestration environments for BIOS/BMC firmware flashing, network switch configuration, and operating system deployment.
• Implement rack-level power, thermal, load-balancing, PDU, and stress-testing validation.
• Write automation scripts in Python, Bash, or Go and integrate diagnostics and stress-testing frameworks with the manufacturing execution system.
• Analyze parametric test data, monitor manufacturing yields, and establish automated pass/fail criteria.
• Support manufacturing technicians, drive rack-level failure analysis, and deploy test lines at global contract manufacturing partner sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in system-level or rack-level manufacturing test engineering.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing test systems, troubleshooting, automated test development, and test equipment integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Experience with hardware/software integration testing, test frameworks, scripting, or automation tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with contract manufacturers, global production environments, high-volume manufacturing, and product ramp.
• Knowledge of quality and reliability methodologies, root cause analysis, and Design for Reliability/Test.
• Experience supporting data center hardware operations.
