Projects and Heavy Lift Transport Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead and oversee project cargo and heavy lift shipment execution.
• Manage daily project operations, resource allocation, transportation plans, route surveys, lifting studies, and method statements.
• Coordinate carriers, vendors, ports, subcontractors, and operational project cargo personnel.
• Prepare quotations and RFQ responses, procure vendor pricing, and develop cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Support customer meetings, sales activities, and the development of new project cargo opportunities.
• Control project costs, profitability, invoicing, job closure, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Requirements

• Experience managing project cargo and heavy lift transport operations.
• Ability to coordinate carriers, vendors, ports, subcontractors, and customers.
• Knowledge of transportation planning, route surveys, lifting studies, and method statements.
• Ability to ensure compliance with safety, legal, customs, and operational requirements.
• Commercial and financial management skills, including quotations, RFQs, cost control, margin review, and invoicing.
