Senior Backend Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is building a new infrastructure layer for AI, providing instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage for low-latency inference and model fine-tuning at scale.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance distributed systems for a serverless platform
• Work with cloud infrastructure and low-level operating system components such as Linux kernel, file systems, and containers
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production incidents
• Collaborate in-person with the engineering team in NYC or SF offices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience writing high-quality production code
• Experience building high-performance distributed systems at large scale
• Strong cloud skills
• Strong knowledge of low-level OS foundations (Linux kernel, file systems, containers)
• Ability to work onsite in New York or San Francisco
• Experience with performance engineering
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation
