Senior Software Development Engineer (AI)

Salary: $168,100–$227,400 USD annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Design and implement managed cloud automated reasoning components, including query routing, solver orchestration, result caching, and soundness management.
• Build and operate highly available, low-latency distributed systems meeting AWS operational excellence standards.
• Develop service APIs for local-solver migration and new reasoning use cases, including Agentic AI correctness verification.
• Translate solver technology research into production-ready capabilities with Automated Reasoning scientists.
• Own on-call operations, monitoring, alerting, deployment automation, and service reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with AWS customer teams, review technical designs, troubleshoot integrations, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional, non-internship software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of leading the design or architecture of reliable and scalable systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
• Experience across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
