Generative Design Associate (AI)

Location: On-site at hirify.global's San Francisco office; this is not a remote role.

Salary: $36–$45 per hour, depending on experience.

hirify.global is building AI-powered living interfaces that generate, test, learn from, and optimize web experiences based on real user behavior.

What you will do

• Use AI systems to prompt and iterate toward visual directions covering layout, hierarchy, motion, tone, and overall feel.
• Refine AI-generated concepts into polished, production-quality web experiences.
• Review experiences across devices, breakpoints, and states to identify inconsistencies and quality issues.
• Translate customer brand guidelines, existing websites, and design systems into native-feeling web experiences.
• Build reusable components, tokens, references, and design patterns that improve consistency.
• Partner with Agent Strategists and engineers in the San Francisco office to move ideas into live experiences.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong visual and UI fundamentals.
• Portfolio demonstrating work across layout, typography, hierarchy, composition, and interaction design; a portfolio is required for consideration.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, common web patterns, and polished browser interfaces.
• Ability to work iteratively, respond quickly to feedback, communicate clearly, and take ownership of deliverables.
• Curiosity about AI-native design and comfort directing, evaluating, and improving AI-generated interfaces.
• Ability to work on-site from the San Francisco office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Figma components, auto-layout, constraints, and shared styles.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or front-end implementation.
• Experience designing landing pages, growth experiences, or conversion-focused interfaces.
• Exposure to design systems or component libraries.
• Experience using Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or other generative design and coding tools.
