Python Developer (AI)

Location: In-person work in the New York City or Stockholm office

Salary: $150,000–$350,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build high-quality Python libraries and developer tools for a broad user base.
• Design interfaces that improve developer productivity and ergonomics.
• Work directly with users to understand and solve their problems.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to production incidents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing high-quality Python libraries.
• Experience maintaining software used by broad user bases, ideally including open-source projects.
• Knowledge of advanced Python features, especially asynchronous programming.
• Strong product sense, customer empathy, communication skills, and willingness to work directly with users.
• Ability to work in person in the New York City or Stockholm office.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with modern data, machine learning, or AI tools and workflows.
• Experience with TypeScript, Go, or Rust.
