Deployment Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based out of WRITER hubs in San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, New York City, Seattle, or London

Base compensation: $132K–$184K annually, plus potential equity.

WRITER provides an enterprise AI platform for building and deploying AI agents grounded in company data and powered by enterprise-grade large language models.

What you will do

• Partner with enterprise customers to identify strategic AI use cases, validate technical feasibility, and own end-to-end implementation.
• Architect and deliver custom applications, templates, and integrations using WRITER’s platform, APIs, and Knowledge Graph capabilities.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear solution recommendations for technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, providing customer feedback that influences the product roadmap.
• Develop scalable processes, documentation, and workflows to reduce time-to-value for technical integrations.
• Drive adoption and expansion of WRITER’s AI solutions within strategic customer accounts.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in technical SaaS roles, including at least 3 years in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or technical account management.
• Strong technical fluency in Python and extensive experience working with APIs.
• Experience designing sophisticated prompts and applying linguistic principles to AI applications.
• Experience delivering complex technical solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to explain AI concepts to technical and C-suite audiences.
• Builder’s mindset with a strong interest in emerging technologies and generative AI.
