Senior Director, Indirect Procurement (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid)

Salary: $185,000 – $285,000

What you will do

• Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and governance frameworks for indirect and corporate spend.
• Negotiate and manage complex IP core licenses, software agreements, and professional services contracts.
• Oversee procurement of engineering lab hardware and capital equipment in coordination with engineering teams.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes and competitive bidding to ensure cost-effectiveness and strategic alignment.
• Manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay process using Zip and NetSuite.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Engineering to ensure compliance with trade regulations and export controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering (MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive procurement experience in IP/software licensing, engineering services, or hardware equipment.
• Background in semiconductor, AI hardware, or high-tech electronics required.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements, including royalty structures and liability provisions.
• Hands-on experience with ERP tools, specifically NetSuite and Zip.
• Experience with international vendor relationships and cross-border contracting.
