Director of Procurement

Location: Remote, US, with an option to work from Cincinnati. Travel required less than 25%.

Base salary: $157,000–$226,600 annually.

What you will do

• Build and lead the procurement function, including policies, approval workflows, spend controls, governance, and performance KPIs.
• Hire and manage a growing team responsible for sourcing, RFx events, and contract administration.
• Develop vendor management and sourcing strategies while leading strategic, high-value negotiations.
• Drive procurement policy adoption across departments and manage exceptions, off-contract spend, and compliance.
• Evaluate and implement source-to-pay and procurement platforms integrated with NetSuite and LinkSquares.
• Develop executive dashboards covering spend, savings, compliance, and data quality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or people-management experience.
• Experience building and scaling procurement functions or programs from scratch.
• Experience implementing or managing procurement or P2P software platforms.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, stakeholder management, analytical, and influencing skills.
• Must be able to work remotely from the US and travel less than 25%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
• Experience with LinkSquares or another contract lifecycle management tool.
