IT Support Engineer

Location: Dublin, Ireland; 5 days per week in the office

Annual salary: €125,000–€165,000 EUR

What you will do

• Triage and resolve hardware, software, networking, account, and endpoint issues through the ticketing system, Slack, and in-person support.
• Support macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian, and other SaaS platforms.
• Manage device enrollment, configuration profiles, policy enforcement, identity, access, and employee lifecycle workflows.
• Provide hands-on support for user technology, AV systems, conference rooms, and printers, including escalations requiring cross-team coordination.
• Maintain runbooks, how-to guides, and knowledge base documentation while identifying recurring issues and automation opportunities.
• Write Bash or Python scripts, contribute to automation, and participate in an on-call rotation for urgent issues outside business hours.

Requirements

• Hands-on IT support experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting macOS endpoints and familiarity with ChromeOS, iOS, and Android.
• Experience administering Google Workspace, Slack, and other SaaS tools.
• Understanding of SSO, MFA, directory services, MDM, and endpoint management fundamentals.
• Basic Bash or Python scripting skills for automation, along with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with zero-trust security concepts and endpoint security tooling.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Experience with IT migrations, tool rollouts, process redesign, or other projects beyond day-to-day support.
• Experience using AI tools to improve personal or team productivity.
• Interest in developing deeper technical skills and progressing toward complex systems administration.
