Lead Technician 3 - 1st Shift (Mechatronics & Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Hazelwood, Missouri, USA; flexible schedules and shifts may be required.

Salary: $29.75–$35.00 per hour, with the specific position rate starting at $35 depending on relevant experience and skills.

What you will do

• Lead technicians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated packaging, conveyor, and material-handling systems.
• Diagnose relay logic, ladder diagrams, PLCs, control components, sensors, motor starters, solenoids, and related equipment.
• Create, assign, monitor, and close work orders with labor, maintenance, and parts data.
• Lead and audit preventive maintenance procedures and coordinate vendor activities.
• Train and mentor junior and contract technicians while maintaining effective facility-wide communication.
• Promote safe work practices in a warehouse environment and use required PPE and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience with material-handling equipment, preventive maintenance, blueprints and schematics, and CMMS platforms.
• At least 2 years of experience with PLC programs.
• Experience leading, training, and mentoring less experienced technicians.
• Vendor management experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, use ladders and aerial lifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in fluctuating warehouse temperatures.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field.
• Experience operating and maintaining robotic equipment.
