AI Support Engineering Lead

Location: Paris, France; office-first and primarily in-person. Occasional work from home is trusted when it better supports the work.

Salary: €100,000–€160,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Set the technical direction for the support engineering stack and define the Support as a Product backlog.
• Design, ship, and maintain AI agents, automation workflows, classification systems, and proactive support tooling.
• Investigate complex customer issues across logs, code, and internal tools, identifying root causes and communicating clear solutions.
• Turn recurring support issues into automation, documentation, prompt improvements, or product feedback.
• Represent Support Engineering in engineering and product discussions and own the feedback loop across teams.
• Hire, onboard, coach, and develop support engineers while setting standards through hands-on work.

Requirements

• Experience defining or significantly shaping a Support Engineering function, including operating models, standards, hiring, or process redesign.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read code, analyze logs, navigate codebases, and troubleshoot distributed systems.
• Builder-level AI experience creating custom agents, automations, or workflows with tools such as hirify.global, Cursor, Claude Code, or n8n.
• Experience coaching and developing engineers, setting expectations, giving direct feedback, and leading by example.
• Ability to prioritize urgent issues, automation opportunities, escalations, and delegation while communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability and willingness to work primarily in person from the Paris office.
