Data & AI Engineer (AI)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid with Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday onsite

Salary: €54,400–€81,600 per year, plus short-term and collective variable compensation

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, reliable end-to-end data pipelines in cloud environments.
• Develop and optimize data models, data warehouse solutions, ETL/ELT processes, and machine learning workflows.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and define interface contracts between data products and applications.
• Implement data quality, standardization, observability, governance, monitoring, and operational KPI tracking.
• Automate data ingestion and maintain pipeline health through troubleshooting and monitoring systems.
• Contribute to engineering standards, design patterns, CI/CD integrations, containerized deployments, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and implementing data pipelines and data warehouse solutions in cloud environments.
• Production experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and pipeline orchestration.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing platforms; Snowflake is preferred.
• Experience with IICS or equivalent ETL tools, dbt, Python, AWS, and Airflow.
• Experience with generative AI technologies and best practices, including vector databases.
• English is mandatory. A master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience designing engineering patterns and technical standards.
