Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, or the United Kingdom

hirify.global is a global cybersecurity company building open-source, AI-powered solutions for Continuous Threat Exposure Management through its XTM platform.

What you will do

• Define and own the AI-Native engineering strategy, including tools, workflows, practices, and their evolution.
• Run structured experiments with AI coding tools and agents such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Cline, and MCP servers, measuring impact on velocity and quality.
• Build guardrails and engineering standards for maintainable, tested, and consistent AI-generated code.
• Embed AI-assisted development practices across product engineering teams of approximately 80 engineers, including AI pair programming, code review, testing, and documentation.
• Create shared agent workflows, MCP servers, prompt libraries, repository configurations, and rules for tools and data handling.
• Share findings through internal talks, workshops, demos, blog posts, open-source contributions, and conference talks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience and a strong full-stack engineering background.
• Proven experience deploying AI-assisted development practices within an engineering team.
• Hands-on familiarity with agentic coding tools, LLM-powered code review, prompt engineering, MCP ecosystems, and emerging AI development tooling.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated output across the full stack and contribute production code when needed.
• Strong communication skills, evidence-based decision-making, autonomy, and ownership.
• Clear English communication and comfort working remotely and asynchronously across multiple time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with open-source communities or cybersecurity.
• Contributions to AI tooling projects.
• Public writing or speaking experience on AI-Native engineering.
