Lead Functional Architect, AI Travel Assistant Speedboat (AI)

What you will do

• Translate business objectives, customer needs, and product concepts into functional solution designs.
• Define end-to-end user journeys, business processes, capability interactions, functional requirements, assumptions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Design functional flows for AI assistant orchestration, travel capabilities, user interactions, and operational processes.
• Define system boundaries, workflows, data exchanges, decision points, and reusable patterns across partner integrations.
• Align Product, Engineering, UX, Security, Enterprise Architecture, and external stakeholders through structured analysis and trade-off assessments.
• Support backlog refinement, design reviews, release planning, implementation questions, and validation of delivered functionality.

Requirements

• Ability to model complex business processes and customer journeys.
• Experience gathering, structuring, and documenting functional requirements and architecture deliverables.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Good understanding of modern software architectures, APIs, cloud-native platforms, integrations, and distributed systems.
• Understanding of AI-powered products, conversational experiences, agent-based systems, or digital platforms.
• Experience working across Product, Engineering, and Business organizations and influencing without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience in travel technology, digital platforms, marketplaces, or AI-enabled products.
• Knowledge of AI assistants, agent ecosystems, or conversational user experiences.
• Experience balancing delivery speed, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
