C++ System Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Build C++ system services for the hirify.global Virtual Enforcement Node software agent.
• Develop features from concept and design through implementation for the Adaptive Segmentation Solution.
• Use operating system mechanisms across Linux, Solaris, AIX, Windows, and macOS to keep the agent lightweight.
• Develop networking and system software that enforces security policies inside application workloads.
• Help secure customers’ critical systems and applications through microsegmentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree.
• 5+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software systems.
• Strong software application development experience and proficiency in C++.
• Knowledge of operating systems and application-level networking.
• Experience with firewalling technologies such as iptables, nftables, or packet filter, plus familiarity with BPF/eBPF.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required. The role involves software and technology subject to U.S. export controls.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with additional operating systems, networking technologies, or system software development.
