Cybersecurity Software Engineer (Product Security)

What you will do

• Review firmware, software, and infrastructure designs to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Implement encryption, key rotation, secure authentication, secrets management, and credential-handling practices.
• Deploy application security tools such as Snyk, Trivy, and Docker image scanners to audit dependencies, supply-chain risks, and vulnerabilities.
• Lead software and firmware hardening initiatives for production systems.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.
• Represent product security in design reviews, code reviews, and cross-functional engineering work.

Requirements

• Strong Linux systems knowledge, including security hardening and permissions management.
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows and secure software delivery practices.
• Understanding of TLS, AES, RSA, ECC, and key-management practices.
• Hands-on experience with SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, Docker/Kubernetes security, and supply-chain auditing.
• Experience conducting secure code reviews and identifying common vulnerabilities across firmware, software, and server environments.
• Strong programming skills in at least two of C++, Rust, Python, TypeScript, or Java, plus the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
