Information Technology SME (Cybersecurity)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; on-site

Salary: $220,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze user needs and define complex cyber and information assurance requirements.
• Develop strategic plans for information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, and automation.
• Provide expertise in communications protocols, risk management, and electronic analysis.
• Oversee software lifecycle management and advanced software development methodologies.
• Lead modeling and simulation to assess system performance and security outcomes.
• Advise government leadership and present complex technical plans to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 20+ years of Information Technology experience with a strong focus on cybersecurity and information assurance.
• Recognized expert-level knowledge and standing in the professional IT community.
• Experience with modern technologies, related legacy systems, complex systems architecture, and communications protocols.

Nice to have

• Advanced certifications such as CISSP-ISSAP, CISM, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience with GitLab, Jira, or Databricks.
• Cloud security architecture experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community task orders.
• Experience developing automated risk management frameworks.
