Senior Product Engineer (Tech Lead) (AI)

Salary: $250,000–$325,000 base salary per year, plus equity awards

What you will do

• Partner with product leadership on architectural decisions, sprint planning, technical roadmapping, and execution.
• Build and ship user-facing web applications and developer tooling across frontend, backend, and workflow layers.
• Design workflows for generative models, including chained and parallel generation calls, streaming results, caching, retries, and graceful degradation.
• Own product quality across correctness, performance, polish, and maintainability, and review other engineers' work.
• Work with users and design partners, instrument shipped features, monitor usage, and iterate based on evidence.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience and a record of end-to-end ownership of user-facing products.
• Strong proficiency with modern frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React, backend services, and web architecture.
• Experience building interactive, real-time, asynchronous, long-latency, or streaming applications.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development workflows and the ability to verify, correct, and own shipped code.
• Product-minded approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid foundation in computer science principles.

Nice to have

• 3D graphics programming and shader development with WebGL or three.js.
• Experience building applications around generative image, video, or 3D AI models.
• Open-source contributions in graphics or machine learning.
• Experience in VFX, gaming, 3D design, or other high-fidelity visual industries.
