TL;DR
Staff Software Engineer (AI) (.NET/React): Designing and building scalable AI-driven greenfield healthcare software in a microservices, event-driven, multi-tenant environment with an accent on C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and cloud architecture. Focus on leading system architecture, solving distributed-systems and high-scale transactional processing challenges, and driving agentic AI development practices.
Location: Remote U.S.-based position; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do
- Lead the design and architecture of major systems and services in a scalable, reliable microservices and event-driven environment.
- Build AI-driven greenfield solutions and help bridge clients from the existing application.
- Define and prioritize technical requirements with solution managers, engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve complex, high-priority issues across development and production environments while improving software quality and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance through code reviews, design feedback, and engineering standards.
- Evaluate new technologies and AI capabilities, and ensure comprehensive automated and integration testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 8–12 years of related professional experience.
- Deep proficiency in C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and EF Core.
- Strong command of React and TypeScript, with expertise in relational data modeling and PostgreSQL.
- Architecture-level experience with cloud technologies; GCP is preferred, with AWS or Azure also accepted.
- Experience with AI development tooling, large-scale transactional processing, and distributed systems.
Nice to have
- Healthcare experience involving EMR, FHIR, or HIPAA compliance.
- Python experience for the ClearCare platform and AI or agent services.
- Event-driven and microservices architecture, Kafka or Redpanda, .NET Aspire, and API design.
- Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform or OpenTofu, and GitHub Actions.
- Claude Code, MCP, Vertex AI, Anthropic SDKs, and experience leading agentic AI adoption.
- Medical claims or payroll accounting experience.
