Sr. Staff, ML Researcher - LLM Algorithmic Optimization (AI)

Location: Hybrid, on-site at the Santa Clara, California headquarters 3 days per week

Salary: $175,000–$265,000 per year, plus equity and bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Invent, design, and implement efficient algorithms for large language model inference optimization.
• Develop algorithms targeting DNN accelerators built by hirify.global.
• Apply advanced algorithmic, mathematical, and numerical techniques to modern LLM applications.
• Collaborate with mathematicians, ML researchers, and ML engineers on high-impact research.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a relevant technical or research field.
• Master’s or PhD in mathematics, computer science, statistics, physics, or a related STEM discipline.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Professional experience with Python and object-oriented code design.
